We are a First Nations Animal Rescue & Care group run by Squamish First Nation members & partners.
Although it is our dream, we 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑. Any animals coming through 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐒 are put into 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨.
"𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭, 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩" is a powerful mantra that underscores the importance of giving animals a chance at a better life. By choosing to adopt from rescue organizations and animal shelters, we not only provide loving homes to animals in need but also actively combat the issues of overpopulation and unethical breeding practices. It's a heartwarming act that not only saves lives but also fosters a deep connection between humans and their adopted pets, reminding us that there are countless wonderful companions awaiting their forever homes, just waiting for a chance to bring joy and love into our lives.
The necessity of care and responsibility for animal welfare is paramount in our interconnected world. As stewards of the Earth, it is our moral and ethical duty to ensure that all living beings, regardless of their species, are treated with compassion and respect. Animals are sentient creatures capable of experiencing pain, suffering, and joy, and our treatment of them reflects our values as a society. By safeguarding animal welfare, we not only alleviate the suffering of countless innocent creatures but also foster a more compassionate and harmonious world where the well-being of all living beings is considered a shared responsibility. Ultimately, our actions towards animals serve as a litmus test for our commitment to empathy, kindness, and the preservation of the delicate balance of life on our planet.
Our charity relies on the generous donations from the public to fulfill its mission and make a meaningful impact. These contributions are the lifeblood of our organization, enabling us to provide vital services, support, and resources to those animals in need. With the public's support, we can extend a helping hand to vulnerable individuals, communities, or causes, ensuring that they receive the assistance and care they require. Each donation, regardless of its size, represents a collective commitment to positive change, and it empowers us to continue our work towards a better, more compassionate world. We deeply appreciate the trust and goodwill of our donors, who play an essential role in driving our charitable efforts forward and turning compassion into tangible results. . Completing an application to adopt an animal from our organization is a crucial step in ensuring the well-being of both the animal and the prospective adopter. This process allows us to carefully assess the compatibility between the animal and its potential home, ensuring that the environment is suitable and safe for the pet's unique needs. It also helps us verify that the adopter is fully prepared for the responsibilities of pet ownership, including providing proper care, love, and commitment. By taking this thoughtful approach, we strive to create lasting, loving bonds between animals and their new families while promoting responsible pet adoption, ultimately leading to happier, healthier lives for both our furry friends and their human companions
. All questions must be answered. Do not leave any blank. Send complete application to Laurie Simington.
