About Us
Animal Rescue and Care
We are a First Nations Animal Rescue & Care group run by Squamish First Nation members & partners.
Although it is our dream, we 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑. Any animals coming through 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐒 are put into 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨.
"𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭, 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩" is a powerful mantra that underscores the importance of giving animals a chance at a better life. By choosing to adopt from rescue organizations and animal shelters, we not only provide loving homes to animals in need but also actively combat the issues of overpopulation and unethical breeding practices. Pet Applications
Completing an application to adopt an animal from our organization is a crucial step in ensuring the well-being of both the animal and the prospective adopter. This process allows us to carefully assess the compatibility between the animal and its potential home, ensuring that the environment is suitable and safe for the pet's unique needs. It also helps us verify that the adopter is fully prepared for the responsibilities of pet ownership, including providing proper care, love, and commitment. By taking this thoughtful approach, we strive to create lasting, loving bonds between animals and their new families while promoting responsible pet adoption, ultimately leading to happier, healthier lives for both our furry friends and their human companions
